Configuring
The SopraText software can handle up to 10 output ‘streams’. Each stream can be a different language for example. All of the streams are output simultaneously and several devices can display the same stream, this allows for several languages to be displayed or for formatting to be specifically tailored to a particular display size. Display devices are added using a search function making configuration simple.

Outputting
Once the surtitles/captions/subtitles have been edited and the outputs configured the same software application is used for output to the displays. There is clear user feedback whilst operating so that the operator knows whereabouts in the script they are. There is a visual representation of the display on the main screen, there is also a communications monitor that will alert in the case of lost communication with an output
